True integrative medicine isn't adding alternative treatments to conventional care.It is reimagining how we approach healing.
My rural upbringing shaped everything: medicine often came straight from the garden. That path led me through chiropractic training and a doctoral thesis on new anatomical discoveries, then Medical Acupuncture, Functional Neurology, Chinese Herbalism, Homeopathy, Integrative Medicine and Nutrition — and finally to comprehensive evaluation of the Autonomic Nervous System, which changed what I understood a physician to be.
What every teacher shared was one insight: our bodies are multidimensional systems of biology, biophysics and consciousness, and healing has to work across all of them.
